When God Decides to Lift a Man: No Resistance Can Stop It

In a recent powerful sermon, Apostle Joshua Selman emphasized a timeless spiritual truth: when God decides to lift a man, that lifting becomes tied to the man’s destiny—and every resistance around him becomes irrelevant. 

This message is especially prophetic for this season, as God begins to honor perseverance over compromise. Many people compromised to survive. Others stood firm and endured. According to this word, this year marks the season of divine lifting for those who refused to bow.

1. Divine Lifting Is a Decision of God, Not Man
When God decides to lift a person, it is not subject to human approval or opposition.
📖 “For promotion comes neither from the east, nor from the west, nor from the south. But God is the Judge: He puts down one, and sets up another.” — Psalm 75:6–7
Once heaven decides, resistance becomes noise.

2. Resistance Always Shows Up Before Elevation
Apostle Joseph Man teaches that opposition is often proof that lifting is near. The moment God marks a man for elevation, adversaries rise.
📖 “And the Lord was with Joseph… but the Lord was with Joseph and showed him mercy.” — Genesis 39:2, 21
Joseph’s resistance didn’t stop his rising—it announced it.

3. Perseverance Is the Qualification for Lifting
This year’s lifting is not random. It is reserved for those who stayed when compromise looked easier.
📖 “Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” — Galatians 6:9
God is rewarding endurance.

4. Compromise Delays What Perseverance Attracts
Many lost timing because they cut corners. Others waited—and now God is honoring their integrity.
📖 “Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than one perverse in his ways.” — Proverbs 28:6
Integrity preserves destiny.

5. This Is the Season of Visible Reward
According to the message, this year marks a visible shift—hidden faithfulness is stepping into public lifting.
📖 “Humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time.” — 1 Peter 5:6
The time is now.

Conclusion
If you stood when others compromised…
If you endured when quitting looked easier…
If you trusted God when it was painful…
👉 This lifting is for you.
No man can block what God has decided.
