2026: Year of Open Doors — But Will You Enter? Bishop David Oyedepo’s Prophetic Charge.
Date: 5 January 2026
By FaithfulHeartsNetwork
On the 1st of January 2026, Bishop David Oyedepo — Founder and President of Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners’ Chapel) — declared by prophecy that 2026 is a Year of Open Doors for the Body of Christ.
However, along with the blessing came a strong caution.
Bishop Oyedepo warned that it is one thing for a person’s doors to be opened by God, but it is another thing entirely to enter into those open doors. Open doors do not automatically translate to breakthroughs; they require responsibility, alignment, obedience, and intentional engagement with prophetic instructions.
He emphasized that God is opening doors of:
favour
divine opportunities
lifting and visibility
breakthroughs in career, business, and ministry
supernatural advancement
Yet many will still miss out — not because God did not open doors, but because they failed to step into them through obedience and faith.
Bishop Oyedepo reminded worshippers that prophetic words are not motivational quotes; they are divine commitments that demand the believer’s partnership. Every prophecy requires:
faith to believe
discipline to act
caution not to despise instructions
alignment with God’s will
He charged believers to be sensitive to divine direction this year, faithful in kingdom service, committed in prayer, and responsive to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
It is not enough for doors to open — the believer must enter, possess, and occupy what God has made available.
The prophetic admonition remains clear:
👉 God has opened the doors.
👉 Don’t be careless with prophecy.
👉 Walk through your doors with obedience.
2026 is pregnant with possibilities — but only the obedient will fully enter in.
