It's Not Dead Yet: See God's Decree Over Your Dead Situation.
Ever feel like you’re surrounded by dry bones? Not the literal kind, but the remnants of dead dreams, failed plans, and exhausted hope. That project that stalled out. That relationship that went cold. That spark inside you that just… faded.
You look at it and think, “It’s over. This is too far gone. There’s no life left here.”
God specializes in situations like that.
In the book of Ezekiel, God shows the prophet a valley full of dry, scattered bones—a picture of complete and utter hopelessness. Then He speaks one of the most powerful sentences in all of scripture:
“Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.” (Ezekiel 37:5 KJV)
Read that again. “I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live.”
This isn’t a hopeful suggestion. It’s a divine decree. It’s God announcing His intention to bring life where there is none.
Your dry bones are not the final word. That situation you’ve given up on? God hasn’t. That part of you that feels lifeless? God is speaking to it right now.
Your only job in the valley? To listen for His voice and believe the promise. To stand on the truth that the same breath that raised a nation from its grave can resurrect your dream, your joy, and your purpose.
Stop staring at what’s dead. Start listening to the God who brings life.
He’s about to cause breath to enter. Get ready to live.
